Florida area mulls stiffer feral cat ordinance

Officials in Brevard County, Fla., are working to revise a county ordinance that regulates feral cat colonies in the area in a bid to better control the feline population. Officials say the existing ordinance is "way too loose" and does not address issues such as the number of cats allowed per acre and neighborhood suitability, among other factors.
