Labor Department ramps up wage, age enforcement

The Labor Department is getting tougher on employers who employ underage and underpaid workers, especially on farms where children work alongside adults. Farmers who hire children who are too young to work face fines of as much as $11,000 per child, up from the approximately $1,000 per child.
