Mint faces social-media backlash -- on its own home page

Some Mint users have been taking to Twitter to announce their decision to quit the personal-finance site, after a Mint blog post about the economic effects of immigration. The negative tweets were given high-profile play on Mint's own home page through an automatically generated Twitter feed. "Maybe companies shouldn't take it for granted that any mention of them on Twitter is going to be good PR," notes Shelley DuBois.
