Red Lobster leaves oysters off the menu amid oil spill

Red Lobster plans to stop serving oysters once its current supply runs out, the seafood chain said Monday. The decision came after supplier AmeriPure Processing ran out of supply and closed its doors amid the ongoing Gulf oil spill. Parent company Darden Restaurants said oysters would remain on the menu at its upscale Capital Grille steakhouse chain, which sources the shellfish from outside the Gulf.
