Survey: Adults are more likely than teens to text while driving

Almost half of all adults who use text messaging send texts while they're driving -- but only a third of texting teens do the same, according to a survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project. Laws banning drivers from using phones don't seem to have made much difference. "If politicians think laws against texting and hand-held phoning are going to be a big boon for safety, it isn't coming," says one highway-safety advocate.
