Toronto mothers plan private school for students with Asperger's

The parents of children with Asperger's syndrome are planning to open in the fall Canada's first private school designed to cater exclusively to the needs of children with the disorder. The Black Oak Academy is being created by Margot Nelles, who started the Aspergers Society of Ontario, and her business partner, Wanda Bogris. They hope the Toronto school will fill a void in the local education system. "It comes out of a huge need," Nelles said.
