Olive oil seems to decrease stroke risk in older people

Research has linked olive oil consumption with a lower risk of stroke in older people. In the study of more than 7,600 people age 65 and older, those who identified themselves as "intensive" users of olive oil had a 41% lower stroke risk compared with those who never use it. The study was published in the journal Neurology.
