Asian-Pacific markets continued to drift down Friday, but at a slower pace after Japan's Nikkei 225 made a spectacular recovery. The index jumped 1.7% overcoming worries about reduced stimulus by the U.S. Federal Reserve and a deepening liquidity crisis in China. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index slid 0.6%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 edged down 0.4%. China's Shanghai Composite lost 0.5%. South Korea's Kospi dropped 1.5%. India's Sensex was up 0.2%.
