Boston plastic surgeons to reconstruct Bolivian child's face

Plastic surgeons at Boston Children's Hospital will attempt to reconstruct a 4-year-old Bolivian girl's face and head after she was mauled by a dog. Skin, muscle and tissue were torn away from the girl's head, face, back and buttocks, doctors said. About 70% of the child's scalp is missing, and a cheekbone is exposed.
