Lawmakers ask NTIA for Colo. EAGLE-Net grant documents

Two leading Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee have asked a Commerce Department agency for documents relating to the panel's probe of the EAGLE-Net broadband stimulus grant in Colorado by July 8. In a letter to the head of the National Telecommunications & Information Administration -- which oversaw the broadband stimulus grant program -- the lawmakers said they were looking into allegations that the group spent the funds in areas that already have broadband service.
