Literacy campaign, editorial app win top student honors at Cannes Lions

A campaign by Japanese students asking Amazon customers to encourage literacy by sending unused books to India was one of the recipients of the Future Lions award at Cannes this year. Other winners included an application that directs traffic to suit the user's commute and an app called Editorialist that allows users to create a customized magazine with articles drawn from a variety of publications. Future Lions is the Cannes Lions festival's student showcase.
