Mass. district looks to draw more students to school meals

Officials in a Massachusetts district have put plans to increase prices for school meals on hold while they focus on encouraging more students to eat school meals. Since new federal nutrition regulations took effect, officials say they have seen a decline in the number of meals served -- and an increase in wasted food. One strategy the district hopes will turn things around is to offer more nutrition education for students next year.
