Obama to meet with civil-liberties oversight board

President Barack Obama will meet today with members of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, a little-known federal watchdog, in a bid to dampen down the National Security Agency surveillance scandal. Obama said he hoped the meeting would spark a national conversation about the broader issue of Big Data collection and use. "This is not going to be restricted to government entities," he said.
