Scientists seek link between new viruses and animal

Scientists are studying cycloviruses in Vietnam and Malawi that may be causing illnesses such as encephalitis, meningitis and other neurological diseases. Researchers say the viruses have a circular genome and have been found in many people with those illnesses. The next step is to see if the virus, often found in animals, is being spread through contact with common farm animals.
