Singapore hub spaces out planes to battle fire haze

Planes are taking off and landing further apart at Singapore Changi Airport in order to improve runway visual range because forest fires in neighboring Indonesia are lowering visibility. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore said the range fell below 1,500 meters due to the haze.
