Study: CABG may boost survival in diabetes, CAD patients

Diabetes patients with multivessel coronary artery disease who underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery showed lower rates of 10-year cardiac mortality and were also less likely to need additional intervention compared with those who received medical therapy, a study in the American Heart Journal revealed.
