Tourette Syndrome group offers to take over Twitter users' accounts

The Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada is asking Twitter users to volunteer to have syndrome sufferers' verbal tics reproduced verbatim in their Twitter feeds. Participants give the foundation access to their Twitter accounts for 24 hours, during which time the foundation posts genuine verbal tics -- including surreal messages such as "Build a biscuit, put a sheepdog on top" -- to their accounts with the hashtag #surrenderyoursay. The aim is to increase awareness and to help Twitter users understand what Tourette Syndrome sufferers experience daily, officials say.
