Why Indian innovators struggle to raise capital

Indian entrepreneurs say they're struggling to raise the capital they need to turn their big ideas into flourishing businesses. That's because investors have been burned by past deals that didn't deliver results, says Vikram Deswal, East Bridge Capital Management's chief investment officer and portfolio manager. "Interest in India remains, but people are licking their wounds," he says.
