Denver's Columbine Building sold, to become a Hampton Inn

Stonebridge Cos., of Englewood, Colo., has acquired Denver's gutted, six-story Columbine Building and plans to convert the building into a Hampton Inn hotel, real estate sources say. The building was sold by Capital Columbine Office Partnership of Denver for an undisclosed price. Stonebridge owns and operates about 40 full- and limited-service hotels in western states.
