Chinese non-biotech farmers see uptick in soybean sales

Chinese farmers are reporting windfall sales for their crops of soybeans, but the product is of the non-biotech variety in the country that imports more biotech soybeans than any other country. China imports biotech soybeans for use primarily in animal feed, but still bans planting biotech oilseed, leaving its farmers to corner the market on production of soybeans that attract those who prefer conventionally grown health products.
