Home-schoolers press for more access to schools

Home-schooling parents nationwide are pressuring school districts to open their sports teams, after-school clubs and Advanced Placement classes to their children. In Pennsylvania, many school boards oppose a bill mandating such access statewide, on the grounds districts should decide for themselves whether they want to take on the associated administrative burden, costs and potential liability.
