Culture of secrecy continues to rule at Apple

Unlike its competitors, many of which have embraced blogs and Twitter as a way to communicate with users, Apple remains one of the most secretive companies in the industry, especially when it comes to new product launches. Most recently, the company managed to keep co-founder Steve Jobs' liver transplant under wraps for several months.
