DisplaySearch: Global LCD sales will be higher than expected

Global sales of liquid-crystal-display TVs now are expected to reach 127 million units, a 7-million-unit increase from earlier projections, according to DisplaySearch. The positive news is attributed to a stimulus-spending program in China and strong sales in developed markets.
