Eurythmics co-founder wants transparency in royalties

Dave Stewart, co-founder of 1980s pop group the Eurythmics, had some choice words in a recent Billboard article about the system by which international record labels pay royalties to artists. "As an artist, a songwriter and a producer, I, along with every other artist, have long yearned for advanced, transparent reporting structures in order to address the entrenched and endemic problem of years of late/short payments," Stewart wrote.
