GE to help expand imaging repository in Ontario

GE Healthcare has agreed to work with the Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network in broadening its current Diagnostic Imaging Repository to include 26 hospital sites in two Local Health Integrated Networks. The move will add 12 RIS and PACS and 1.5 million tests to the repository annually. GE plans to incorporate data from five PACS vendors.
