Silverstone: Government needs to take lead on cybersecurity

According to security expert Ariel Silverstone, the Obama administration's plan to secure the federal government's computer systems needs to take a range of interests and priorities into account if it is to be successful. In addition to embracing and carefully managing its relationships with civilian agencies, the government should define its mission based on system needs, data sensitivity and other criteria, Silverstone says.
