Who will pay for Twitter?

Twitter boasts about 18 million users and is growing at a rapid clip, but revenues remain a challenge for the microblogging firm. Co-founder Biz Stone said the company could make money by verifying corporate accounts so users would have assurances brands appearing on Twitter were real. "We think we'll get to something this year, however simple, that shows we're making some money," Stone said.
