Port Authority to set contracts for an arts center at the WTC site

A planned performing arts center at the World Trade Center site is nearing the contracting stage. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is getting set to vote today on a package that would outline shared costs of the center, including an agreement on common infrastructure costs such as an electrical system. Board members also will vote on a package of contracts to build the center's foundation.
