Study: Pigeons carry bacteria that could prove harmful to humans

Spanish researchers have found that pigeons carry two types of bacteria, known as Chlamydophila psittaci and Campylobacter jejuni, that can cause diseases in humans. Pigeons do not appear to be sickened by the bacteria, but they may transmit the bugs to humans, researchers said.
