Emirates unveils plans with General Electric for engine-overhaul shop

Emirates airline will spend about $120 million to develop an engine-overhaul facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that could handle 300 engines each year. "The establishment of an engine shop re-emphasizes Emirates' commitment to providing the highest standard of in-house maintenance to its fleet," said Emirates Chairman and CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
