Judge refuses Samsung's bid to see future Apple devices

Apple has won a victory in federal court with a judge's rejection of Samsung's request to get a preview of the next-generation versions of the iPhone and iPad as part of the two companies' ongoing patent litigation. Samsung had argued its request was "highly relevant" to its defense of Apple's lawsuit, but the judge ruled that Apple's case was based on its existing products, not those in the pipeline.
