Wash. 2nd-graders profile community's diversity on video

Second-graders at Oak Harbor Elementary School in Washington state shared what they learned about the diverse cultures in their community through their Digital City of Stories video project. The students researched the cultures, art and music of Mexico, the Philippines and the Netherlands, and interviewed people from those countries. "It just opened the doors and brought the world into the classroom," said teacher Anna Fick.
