Study: Month after heart attack riskiest for those with heart failure

People who suffer a heart attack complicated by subsequent heart failure are at particularly high risk of sudden death in the first month after the heart attack, according to a new study. Researchers say the findings suggest strategies to prevent sudden death or cardiac arrest should be used earlier in such patients.
