Eye docs work together around the world without leaving home

A retired ophthalmologist has started Cyber-Sight, a telemedicine program that joins 140 medical mentors with 600 ophthalmology professionals around the world. The goal is to improve the quality of eye care and help make difficult diagnoses through e-mailed photos. The program "gave us the possibility to work with such great people, raise the quality of our professional work and the quality of our patients' lives," said one Romanian doctor.
