Google faces Android delays

Google, which had set a goal of producing mobile phones loaded with its open-source Android operating system by the second half of the year, will not have the handsets ready until the fourth quarter, according to reports. While carriers such as T-Mobile USA, Sprint Nextel and China Mobile reportedly are also struggling to meet their deadlines -- largely because Google's attention is being stretched.
