Investor: Firms with poor governance ripe for short-selling

Bill Hwang, CEO of Tiger Asia Asset Management and one of the leading hedge fund investors in Asia, said poor corporate governance leaves a company vulnerable to short-selling. "We have found in Asia independent directors becoming multi-millionaires through stock options," Hwang said in citing examples of bad governance.
