Is Pfizer mulling an agency consolidation?

Pfizer, whose 2007 U.S. measured media spend topped $800 million, has asked roster and non-roster shops to submit information about their pharmaceutical marketing experience, in preparation for what some expect will be a move to consolidate its account. A Pfizer representative said the process was meant to be a "strategic look at the landscape," but said the company was not yet at the "stage" of considering a possible consolidation.
