House Democrats agree on farm oversight; climate bill progresses

House Democrats said Tuesday that they have reached agreement on agricultural issues that have kept the climate-change bill from progressing. Giving oversight of farm carbon emissions to the Agriculture Department, Democrats won the support of House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson. The full House may vote on the bill this week.
