Netflix prepares for its second act

While Netflix is having a record year, CEO Reed Hastings sees the mail-order DVD rental business as fatally flawed and is creating strategies for survival. Hastings said that in about four years his company's DVD-by-mail business will begin to decline as more people become comfortable with ordering movies and TV shows directly from the Internet.
