New ad management system in works from Microsoft, Mediabrands

Microsoft has teamed with Interpublic Group's Mediabrands to create what's being billed as the first "Office Suite" software for marketers. The Media Operations Management System, which will be rolled out by the end of the year, will give marketers the ability to plan, buy, monitor and optimize a full range of media, including search ads, e-mail newsletters and TV spots.
