Aquaculture is set to supply the world's seafood

As the planet's population grows and the seas increasingly become overfished, fish farmers are expected to become the source of the lion's share of the world's seafood, researchers say. Fish farms have seen steady growth of about 10% annually during the past two decades, and aquaculture businesses booked sales of about $78.8 billion in 2006.
