Borders boosts Kobo deals with gift cards

Borders is aiming to make sales of its Kobo e-reader more attractive by bundling $20 gift cards and $10 "Borders Bucks" into the deal. The move came after Amazon and Barnes & Noble cut prices on their e-readers this week amid fiercer competition. At $150, Kobo is among the lower-priced e-reader options, but the device doesn't come with Wi-Fi or 3G connections that allow users to download digital content directly.
