Drug combo means fewer injections for diabetic children

Researchers said mixing insulin aspart and detemir and delivering them in the same syringe for children with Type 1 diabetes could reduce the number of injections for patients. The study found mixing the two had the same effect on blood sugar levels as giving the injections separately.
