The New York Times profiles Robert Dudley, the BP executive who today will replace embattled CEO Tony Hayward as the person overseeing the company's response to the ongoing oil leak. Dudley previously handled BP's contentious joint venture with Russia. "He's not only a good ol' boy, but he's from Mississippi and he doesn't have a British accent," said oil analyst Fadel Gheit. "The media will take it a lot easier on him. He will fit in the landscape better than Tony Hayward."
