How to get your message across to "social moms"

Social-media moms are an increasingly important marketing demographic, but it's important to remember that they aren't a monolithic group, according to BabyCenter chief Tina Sharkey. A recent BabyCenter study breaks social moms into five categories, each of whom need to be targeted in different ways. "Marketers [can] shift their mindset from social media to social marketing by gaining a better understanding of who the mom influencers are," Sharkey says.
