Obama unveils patients' bill of rights

President Barack Obama on Tuesday introduced a so-called patients' bill of rights, a set of insurance regulations aligned with the provisions of the health reform law. The rules prohibit insurers from denying coverage to children with pre-existing conditions and from dropping the policies of individuals who become ill or commit unintentional errors in their application forms. The patients' bill of rights was announced on the same day that Obama met with insurers to tackle rate increases.
