Airbus casts doubts on Bombardier's CSeries aircraft

The Paris Air Show proved to be a success for Bombardier as it signed key contracts for its CSeries aircraft and other jets. However, Airbus took more than 1,000 orders and commitments for its A320 plane, casting doubts on the future of Bombardier's CSeries. "That airplane was launched three years ago, and I don't see many orders. If that were my program, I'd think of a redesign or drop the program," said John Leahy, an Airbus executive.
