States get CMS contracts to improve dual eligible care

CMS officials told a House subcommittee that 15 states have been given $1 million contracts to develop integrated programs that improve access to care for Medicare and Medicaid dual eligibles. CMS has given the states Medicare data to use in projects that are to focus on program alignment, data and analytics, and models and demonstrations.
