Group endorses cost-benefit rule for regulators

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions says it backs a bill sponsored by Sens. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Mark Warner, D-Va., that would make the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators weigh the costs against the benefits of any proposed regulation.
