Starbucks to raise some U.S. drink prices

Starbucks will increase the price of some of its beverages by about 1% at U.S. stores this week, the first increase in nearly two years for some of the coffee giant's markets. Higher rent, labor and non-coffee commodity costs are driving the increase, which won't affect the price of Grande or Venti brewed coffees, Frappuccinos and Refreshers at most stores, said spokesman Jim Olson.
